I am new here and own a 2004 Thor Four Winds Infinity Class A. My slids does not have any kind of lock that I can see or find. Are there suppose to have locks on all slides? This is my first RV and live in Kentucky and flew to Fl. to pick up and drove home a little over a thousand miles about a month ago with out a problem. The slides go out and in as they should. Never new they are suppose to have some kind of lock on the slides. Would not want them to come out going down the road. Where would I locate the locks? Thanks

I have an older MH with a single 14' slide. When I arrived at the MH today, I noticed that the slide had partially opened (and yes, I had the safeties on...it literally pulled one out of the floor). The slide will neither retract or extend. AT this time, it's out about a foot on one side and a few inches on the other. I'd like to get it fully extended while I wait for a mobile tech to come by in a few days. There is no winch. It's HWH. How would I go about manually extending the slide?

On mine there are two solenoids, one to push the slide open and one to pull the slide shut. When one fails it allows the other to override it. Check your slide fluid level first, then check to see if you have two solenoids...switch them if you do and see if it retracts....good luck...Dennis
