Tiffin Allegro Red 33AA vs. Winnebago Forza 34T

The Kwikee leveling system on our 2007 Itasca Sunova 35J has become junk, and you can't buy parts because they went under. Our options seem to be to either limp the MH down to South Florida and have Bigfoot install a new system for $4,000 to $5,000 or trade her in. I'm ready to move to diesel, but don't want to go big because we like staying in the national parks, whose sites max out at 35' rigs. After some research, I think it comes down to the Allegro Red 33AA vs. the Forza 34T.

They seem to be very comparable in many of the specs, but the Tiffin is rated at 10,000 towing capacity to the Winne's 5,000, which is quite a discrepancy. We love our Itasca's rock-solid construction/ride and the Forza shares that; I also really like the placement of the entry door on the Forza behind the passenger door as opposed to in front of it.

Any input on this would be greatly appreciated!

I'd go Tiffin as I know people that have this model and are very pleased. Winne is not a bad coach....but I think Tiffin edges it out.

A new Tiffin Red 33AA I recently looked at had 5243 pounds of payload (OCCC) , pretty good.

I'll jump in with my opinion.... Back in 2004 (before we purchased our 1st MH) we rented a 31 ft. Fleetwood Tioga class C and it had a somewhat similar floor plan to the Forza in that all the seating is on one side.

If you have friends/family with you, it's like birds sitting on a fence, everyone is on the same side. You DO have the passenger seat that turns around but just one spot across from all the other seating.

So, I vote for the Tiffin as it has more balanced seating. In the Forza, I'm wondering if the bathroom door will hinder your entrance into the bathroom while the slide is closed, the Tiffin appears to have a sliding bathroom door.

I know you like the 'mid door' but the front door allows the slide to start earlier in the sidewall giving you more openness in the living area.

Another deciding factor is where the 'factory' is located. I see that you are in Florida and Red Bay, AL, is closer than Indiana.

Whatever you choose, you will have fun!

On edit: Check the CCC as the Tiffin with 4 slides is going to be close to max weight.

Please learn from my mistakes.$$$$ 17 years ago on here, 36' was considered max for NP, SP, USFS, COE CGs so I bought a used 36'DP. Did not take long to learn that's BS so went to 40'. 14 years ago when able to use a MH 100+ days/year went to a 42' and in the summer we boondock out West 5 out of 7 days for three months without any problems and NO reservations...the internet has made it easy to do this. OK, sometimes I have to stay just outside of a NP. Never though I'd do this BUT last month I went to 45'...my point is buy more MH than you think you need, ONE TIME and not like me. Good luck
