Okay Monaco Dynasty experts. How do we tighten the toilet seats? Where is the access to the screws? Do we have to pull up the whole toilet? We tried going in thru the top on the back of the toilet in the master, but there is no access to the screws. Do we need to make a visit to the factory? Thanks for your help.

1. Some toilets you do have to pull to tighten the Seat bolts
2. Usually, if you lift up the seat to put pressure on the underside nut, you can then turn the slot/phillips screw tighter.
3. There is one toilet (not sure of the model) where you have to tighten on the bottom side nut, they have no screwdriver type screw on top.
4. WHY would you go to the Factory for this type problem???? Go to a RV Service center. Doug

A toilet control board? Life is complicated. ๐Ÿ™‚

When you do remove it for access, ground yourself if you touch anything on the control board. Static is very bad for any electronics especially containing IC chips. A ground strap is a good idea.
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

In our 1/2 bath, I had to remove the toilet to get to the seat nuts/bolts. That also meant getting a new closet flange gasket.

What kind of toilet do you have? If it is the Tecma macerator toilet, the only way to tighten the nuts on the two bolts is to reach behind the toilet. Depending on how its installed, you may have to remove the bolts holding the toilet to the floor, pull the toilet forward to gain access. The original nuts used on the Tecma are strange looking wing-type nuts that are hard to tighten with most common tools. I replaced my seat recently and used 7/16" hex nuts so I could tighten them with a 7/16" socket.

On ours the top of the toilet seat hinge flips up and the bolt is right inside.
