Washing the Roof

Before, During & After on the Maine Forest Cafe ~ The GetAway Chronicles.

Next on the punch list, wash and wax the sides. I'm thinking about getting the same kit that is used for private aircraft.

Any hints beside the armstrong method?

Thanks. Those are the standard-issue Allegro electric horns. They don't work and I haven't investigated. I suspect it's because the previous owner installed real air horns behind the grill.

I used a full bottle - 32 fl oz of Camco Rubber Roof Cleaner and Conditioner into about a half bucket of water. May have been overkill and it is a fiberglass roof so am hoping for no unintended negative side effects. $10.99 at the local Truck/RV sales & service center.

To be honest, we don't watch that much TV. I can't even remember the last time it was extended for use. Wife watches DVDs, I watch campfires. I do know that the bedroom TV has never been turned on, thinking of what else the space may be useful for.

But there may be a day that we will need it and better to be prepared than not.
