Forum ----smoreum who cares?

From pic it is passenger side far rear corner.
See vented cover/panel at rear.
It is a Suburban Water Heater.
All conponents are in that outside compartment.
Valving will be inside Van on backside of WH Tank

If electric/propane combo...electric ON/OFF switch is in outside compartment lower left corner.-----could have an additional electric on/off switch inside....if so BOTH would have to be on for electric heating (with 120V AC power). WH MUST have water init BEFORE turning electric on...burnt out element if no water

Propane ON/OFF will be inside ...it will have a light with ON/OFF switch. Light comes on when propane first turned on..then goes out when flame lights. IF no flame/loss of flame light stays on

Propane could be just pilot flame style...depends on model.
If pilot need to light via gas control in outside compartment.

Open compartment cover and look on frame/datat plate for MODEL number
EX: SW6-P (pilot) SW6D (propane with spark ignition)
SW6DE (electric/propane)

Vents (Top/Lower) in front of tire is for fridge
Is it time for your medication or mine?
