What did you do to your Class C MH today???

Dan86300zxt, Nice job!!! It looks FANTASTIC!! What type of paint did you use to do the stripes? Also, did you spray it on or use a brush? Looks real professional.

Back from a week on the Oregon Coast. Parked most of the time a few feet from the beach. Got the salt off it day before yesterday.

Yesterday I changed the brake fluid. Easy job. Took about 45 min. Today will change the oil and filter in the transmission. Getting it ready for our next trip in a week or so.

It's a shame that RV's/campers is built this way, All of the water that has leaked into the floor and maybe the walls too is still there, They may fix the leaks but after the water comes in the damage is done and its not going to just go away, I can see why the sales of older RV's is on the rise,?? People is starting to see there better off to buy an old RV (Cheap) and rebuild it, At least when they do they know what they have, And the Money that is saved can go a long way.

I also have had trouble with our brand new Forrest River pull behind; 29 ft. We bought it brand new May 2010; the first trip, the jack motor wouldn't work when we tried to unhitch at our seasonal site. They wouldn't come and fix or help; they explained how he could take it apart and bring the motor to them for a new one. Which we had to do; no choice. The second trip, small leak in between the bathroom and back bedroom. The third trip another leak only bigger while camping in N. Carolina. And, the toilet didn't flush correctly. So, on the way back from Asheville, we dropped it off (last Sept.) and didn't get it back until this spring. Set it back up at the seasonal site; hooked everything up. Went back a week later to stay; water leakage all over bathroom floor; and the sprayer they put in the toilet didn't work. The cabinet doors didn't stay closed, and they said bring it back. Went to hitch and the jack motor didn't work again. The mechanic said that was bad jack motors and they would check it out. So, my husband had to manually jack it up to hitch. They had it 3 days, got a newer heavy duty jack (said it wasn't under warranty but they would take care of it). It was under warranty as I had the receipts. They said tightened fittings again for the leak. And, it is now out of warranty. Is there a company that does extended warranties?

removed the new rear bumper so i can trim and paint the mounting brackets. Also ordered a set of Koni shocks to replace the oem ones.

Walked inside it, once again sat down with my cup of coffee and thought to myself, "OMG it is really mine!" Then, looked left and right, turned on the TV and thought again to myself, "pinch me" Then, left it, went back in the house to shower and get ready for work. Sigh, would rather sit in it in my driveway admiring it, or head off somewhere where someone could teach me all about connecting it, etc. But, must go to work.

Later tonight though, will once again, admire my new RV sitting all nice and lovely in my driveway!

I did the same thing earlier this morning but installed a Fan/Mate Rain Cover for a High-Powered Ceiling Fan (but we didn't have any rain).

Also finished up installing my Ready Break towbar/brake system combo then took it for a test run. Worked well but I must have a bad 12v connection as my little LED that lets me know the brakes on the toad are engaged didn't work.

Not really on the C but started to run 10/2 wire for an outside connection on the garage but came up short. Need to run to the hardware store tomorrow.

I installed Bilstein HD shocks, the fronts were kind of a beotch like others have mentioned but the rears were super easy.

Spent most of the day "Red Max-ing" the front and rear caps on our coach. Our MH faces West in the storage lot, so that front cap takes a beating! The hardest part of the day was scrubbing all of the black streaks with the 3M scrubbie and BKF off the rear end. Whew! That was a workout.

Anyways, they both turned out great. I wish I would have taken some before and after pictures.

I am curious as to how long the "shine" will last.
