What to and not to do with a slideout.

Doe's the Motorhome have to be Level when you open the slideout. My Motorhome is a Damon Intruder doe's the slideout stop with and limit switch or a pressure switch?

It's a 1997 Damon Intruder class A I have a owners manual that I downloaded but doesn't say anything about slide outs.

Thanks I never had a slideout before and I thought that I had heard that the Motorhome needs to be level or it could be damaged. Just want to not do anything that can screw up my equipment.

My Thor will keep the slide running until i let go of the button. It just won't go any further out when the stops around it hit the outer wall.

My National owners manual says to level first, then slides out..
