I got some of the valve extenders starting to leak, the seal between the extender and valve stem are deteriorated, drying up. Has anybody ever replace the seals, would like to replace all of them. The extenders are Wheel Master # 92-9243

Have a great day

Replace them with these.

Even if they break, the valve in your tire stays intact.

I previously used extenders until one leaked and caused a tire to go flat while parked. It could have caused some major damage, but I caught it before driving off.

The commercial tire place recommended I not use the extenders saying they leak too frequently to be reliable. Apparently, the extenders rub on the outside tire wheel where they go thru the hole in the wheel and that's where they fail.

Instead, get a commercial type pressure gauge that allows you to reach in and check or fill a tire without using an extender. They are very inexpensive.

If you lose pressure and then lose the tire it will probably cost a bunch more than new extenders. My one blowout years ago took out some fiberglass and a couple of wire harnesses. Could have been much worse.
Get new shiny ones.

Hey Josรฉ,
How about that, I remembered how to make your "รฉ". Pretty cool huh? Anyway, nope, I personally have never heard of anyone replacing just the little seals inside those extenders. I don't know if they can be replaced but, it may be worth looking into. I suppose you could dissect one of them and see what the seal looks like and then, head down to your local AutoZone or whatever's close and see if they have anything that comes close.

How's the ticker? Getting your exercise? Blanca doing fine?
