Winegard RM-DM46 antenna/Dish VIP211 receiver

Friends....your help requested...
The previous owner of my Cass C installed a Winegard Model RM-DM46 manual satellite antenna. Up to now I have not attempted to use it because over-the-air TV has been adequate for our needs. Early next year we will travel further west into areas where TV reception is weak or nonexistent. I am considering installing a Dish VIP211z receiver and purchasing Dish service. My question is will the Dish 211z receiver work with the installed RM-DM46 antenna? I understand that I will only be able to receive standard definition channels but that is not an issue. If it will work how difficult will it be to set it up? I will appreciate any and all comments and suggestions.

We have been using the RM-DM46 antenna on our Class C with DirecTV for the past 5 years and really like it. Much easier to use than the portable antenna we had previously. I don't know how to get the elevation and azimuth settings for Dish, but once you have that info it isn't difficult to aim the antenna. You can find the manual for the antenna here. I use a somewhat different method to find the satellite than is described in the manual. I posted my method with pictures in an earlier thread here.
