Winnebago Screw cover vinyl strips

I have a 2013 Winnebago Vista 35F.
The vinyl screw covers have shrunk and as a result they have pulled out of the screw at one end and the painted graphics no longer match up.
I had noted the shrinking during the one-year warranty period to my service advisor at R & R RV in Spokane, WA., only to be blown off.

I can't imagine that Winnebago engineers did not anticipate this shrinkage. So far, they have not responded, but it has only been a few days. Levi's has figured out how to pre-shrink their jeans, certainly Winnebago can do the same.

Besides the visual problem, the corners are now open where the horizontal and vertical strips on the slides are supposed to meet.

Use rivets if, possible. Aluminum, Stainless Steel pop type are very economical.

They buy the vinyl trim in huge rolls from a supplier and are at the mercy of their quality.
