Different way home

We are in Virginia Beach Virginia. I have a 3/4 ton truck pulling 40’ fifth wheel.  Is there a better route to go than i64? I live in Kentucky. There are 3 or 4 good 4-5 mile mountain climbs that seems are going to be a bear on my truck. I was looking at maybe going i95 to Washington and then i270-i70 through Columbus then i71 home My question is are the big mountain climbs that way? Thanks for any info.
