steamer or frother for lattes?

we like our breve lattes and wonder which makes the best foam using heavy cream.
seems to me the steamer heats it but dilutes it with water. but the frother is cold?
what's the solution if one wants the cream hot but not diluted? nuke and froth maybe?

and it's gotta be small enough for rv of course please.

that may be so but we use heavy cream--better for insulin/glycemic and tastes better!

According to most knowledgable baristas you need to use skim milk to get proper froth for your coffee. We travel with our espresso machine so frothing milk is a sinch.
