Direct TV sound connection to Jensen

I have a Direct TV DVR connected via HDMI to Samsung TV. I want to have the sound output go to my Jensen receiver to speakers.
If I am watching a DVD the sound comes through my ceiling speakers. I want that for when I am watching Direct TV. Can I do it and what cables from where to where can I plug. My Jensen connects to my TV via Red RCA.
Any help would be nice.

I plugged into TV RCAs, didn't try that. But have to order cable.

DVR has audio out (red and white RCA) connections on back. Use those to feed Aux in on Jenson. Can get proper cable if Jenson Aux in is 3.5mm headphone jack.

TV should have audio outs. Radio should have auxiliary in. Connect the two.
