We have a 3-tuner Hopper with Sling ("Hopper 2") DVR in our coach and use a tripod mounted dish that we can equip for either the eastern or western arc satellites as needed for our location, trees, etc. My typical dish setup time is rarely more than 15 minutes, and I have no problem doing it even daily as we travel. We are considering upgrading to the newer 16-tuner Hopper 3 DVR, but if we do, we'll continue to use our existing dish setup with just the addition of a hybrid switch. We originally had a VIP211K single tuner receiver with an external hard drive for DVR functions, but the recording conflicts we regularly ran into eventually convinced us to go with the Hopper.

I have DISH at the house. I did the
Tripod and moving the Hopper and Joey around.

Then I got wise and bought a Winegard Pathway X2 auto seek dome ($400) and. 211Z
Sat box ($80).

The Winegard can get both eastern and western arcs. It's the only one that does that.

The 211 has startup menus specific for the Pathway. Easy to use.

The Pathway also has a bigger dish so works better in rain.
My Kharma ran over my Dogma.

That depends upon the receiver(s) you have at home. If you have a Hopper/Joey setup you will not be able to use a dome style antenna but you could buy an open face dish and use the same equipment.
Let us know what model receivers you have and we can give you some accurate information.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?
