Ordered some stuff for the camper and thought ordering from CW was no big deal.. really wish I had clicked through this forum first. Items are still "processing" and I have no hope of receiving them before our trip): Never again will I order from them when there are so many other good choices available.

I think Amazon is the best place to buy products as i have done most of my purchasing from Amazon site online with discounted price.

CW has a great variety of items that are hard to find, particularly when you consider the wide variety of RVs that are on the road. That said, they have GOT to be the online ordering system up and running soon. They also need to fix the order history pages because they don't open the links to your order history. It just pulls up another page with the same information. Even searching for your orders on those same webpages simply generates an error message. After so many months, even I'm starting to shop elsewhere for things that I would normally buy through CW.

The next thing CW needs to fix is their return policy. I can buy things all day long from Amazon, et.al., and return the item for almost any reason at no charge should I choose to return it. I've ordered "universal fit" items from CW that just didn't fit for whatever reason and been charged a return shipping fee. Based upon my conversation with their CSR, you must order the item(s) via their telephone ordering system for them to waive the return shipping charge if the item you ordered doesn't fit/work/damaged/etc.

So, if you order online and what to return it, you're charged the return shipping fee. If you wait and talk to one of their CSR team and later want to return it, they will waive the return shipping fee. Personally, I don't necessarily want to chat with someone to order something when there is an entire eCommerce structure out there that sells the same products without all of the headaches.

No offense intended but CW also has an IT issue as well as long as this has been going on.

Hello mister_d,

Thank you for writing in and my sincere apologies. Due to a system upgrade issue we have had an increase in call volume, order issues and email volume. If you could please send us a private message with your order information I can look into this for you. Thank you

Yup, that's been the overwhelming scenario as of late. We stopped ordering from CW about a year or two ago, although we would like to give them some business as they do sponsor this forum we heartily enjoy. We do on occasion shop at the CW locally.

Never had any issues with our orders arriving in a timely manner, rather their prices and over the top shipping costs is the main reason we shop elsewhere. Recently they have had their share of issues with fulfilling online orders, hopefully it will be resolved soon. Sorry to hear of your dilemma.

I am sometimes fooled into thinking that CW's sale item's are really a good price yet whenever I check on these same item's with a quick WEB search, I always find that item cheaper and easier to get. I don't buy the notion that CW can't keep up with places like Amazon....I think a good majority of CW's business is mail order so something needs to change. Sorry to hear of your dilemma..... good luck!
