My new 3500 ram factory radio is not great. Looking to put in a new head unit with gps ( hopefully with RV settings) and still allow my back up camera to work. Any suggestions on a unit?

It's a mistake to get a built-in GPS system. While I believe all of the stand-alone GPS units are much less capable than Google Maps, if you want an RV GPS unit you are going to want to get a Garmin or similar unit which you can easily update quarterly as required.
Garmin does make a unit that allows a back up camera but it sounds like you want a replacement radio. If so, get a good radio and see if you can find one that allows a backup camera hook-up. Adding GPS, if even possible, would not be my recommendation.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?
