My factory wired tv cable system is useless.
If you have had any luck in figuring out how the manufacture, screwed this up
and a remedy please share

I'm assuming the cable connection on the front of the unit near the door entrance
Is a feed for an tv outside.

I have no manual and what I have found on line doesn't mention cable tv

Another cable connector on the rear of the camper,
I'm assuming that is the input for the dish.

There are 2 outlets inside the unit one by a hall way by the
Intertainment center an one in the bedroom.

Any thought s on how to see where manufacture dropped the ball.

Let me try this fix. When I pull the plate off
I see a splitter. One input two out puts.

If I take the black co ax wire. That I assume
It's the input
Attach it to the plate could one assume that
Will be a direct feed from the outside connector
Where the tailgater is hooked?

I understand this will disconnect antenna feed
an the other outlets

Making the only port hot is at the entertainment
Center

Really? It's a 12V power port. AKA Cigarette Lighter Port.

here is one way some people have modified there cable input to be used as a satellite input click cable to satellite mod the cable used in your rv may not be the best for satellite but it may be ok to use.

Looks like the link u sent is my best option

The dedicated cable you are using is your best option but some coaches can have the cable input modified to be used with satellite TV. If you can find any route where a new coax can be run from outside the coach directly to where the satellite TV receiver is located, this is your best option.
By the way, the manufacturer did not drop the ball. You are trying to connect a satellite TV connection to a connection designed for Cable TV only.

Your right they didn't drop the ball they just haven't

So this camper wasn't wired to get sat signal from a tailgater or a normal dish?

What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

Thanks. I'm trying to connect to a dish tailgater
It works fine by direct wire
The on off switch for antenna I'm not aware of
There are 2 cable outlets. One on the outside of the camper one at end of the unit by spare tire.
One beside the entrance door. I would think the one near the entrance door
Would be for an outside tv, not sure.

Inside the camper I have 2 cable outlets one above entertainment
Cabinet, also one in celling in bedroom

I have tried hooking to both inside outlets. Same result
No incoming signal

Note\On the wall plate by the entertainment center where you attach the cable
That face plate where the cable attaches may have a switch on it I'll take a second
look

find your tv wall plate with the on off antenna switch turn it on for antenna or off for cable then do a channel search from the tv menu screen and be sure to set it to scan cable channels for cable or air channels for over the air channels. that has to be done at each new location you go to. and on each tv. here is the manual for the switch you are looking for should be behind the main tv. tv wall plate says they include cable hookup on these sportsman

Or perhaps you just are not using it correctly.

What are you trying to connect? Park cable, Direct TV, Dish Network?

Is the OTA antenna working?

Please elaborate...

Rick I do not understand a few things.
Are you connecting to the rear connection to get CABLE
Do you have an antenna?
If you have an antenna there should be somewhere to switch from OTA to cable.
