Just thought I'd throw this out: What's the best, most reliable, durable tool to bring on the road?

Buy a toolkit with variety of wrenches, screwdrivers, etc...that will cover a lot of basic maintenance/repair issues.
We also have an electrical kit (multimeter, wire, fuses, electrical tape, connectors, etc....) which comes in handy.

I carry a 12 ton hydraulic jack, 1/2" x 36" breaker bar, sockets that fit all of my lug nuts. Remember that some wheels require thin wall sockets to fit. I also carry electrical tools including volt meter, and a ir thermometer. I check my hub temps periodicaly.

I have a 3/4" drive 18V Milwaukee impact gun with 2 impact sockets, 1 for the truck, 1 for the trailer.... Won't leave home without it...( and a torque wrench )
Oh, and I upgraded the battery and purchased an extra which really was needed as all my battery tools at home use the same battery and are Milwaukee.
