We just switched to t mobile 55 plan. Our cell signal at home is not good. Two things I like about t mobile.

1 They sent us what they call a "cell spot" for 25.00, no monthly fee, that gives us 4-5 bars at the house.

2-They have wifi calling. If your phone is capable you can call / text using wifi signal. Of course you need a wifi signal. We are currently in a CG in Fl. Lady told me people complained about t mobile signal here, and she is right it is ****. But they have a decent wifi system so our phones are working fine.

Don't understand the technology but it works. Again, phone must be wifi calling capable.

FWIW

Adding a joke to this thread
Smooth Talker: The Salesman, Preacher or Politician. (Well in the last 2 some of 'em but all the first).

Oh and Salesman includes potential boyfriend/girlfriends too for that is the biggest sale you will ever make.

I live in a rural area where I have to have a booster to have signal in my house or metal shop. I have the WeBoost in the house but was unwilling to put another $500 for one in my shop. I took my chances on a $50 outfit on EBAY for the shop. Very little difference in performance in the $500 setup vs. the $50 setup. Just make sure you get the frequency for your needs.

Where are you seeing $650? Looks like the Max amp RV is only $349.

The bottomline: SmoothTalker is better but pricier and weBoost is ok and cheaper. If you're looking for something in between, Surecall is cheaper than Weboost but better per this 3rd party test: https://www.signalbooster.com/pages/ckc-labs-test-of-surecall-fusion2go-3-0-versus-weboost-drive-4g-x

Except the Max Amp outperforms the weBoost, particularly in extreme conditions, and distributes the boosted signal throughout your RV, instead of only within 2-3 feet of the weBoosts inside antenna.

Howdy!

The Maximum Signal boost the signal for all cellular devices up to eight devices at a range up to 53'. We have a 44' toy hauler we fulltime in and it work great anywhere inside the RV and within range outside.

I don't have either one listed we use Maximum Signal booster and it works great. Just a suggestion to look into.

X2! Our Maximum Signal Max Amp RV has given us good cell signals in places our previous weBoost found no signal at all or a poor signal at best. And we particularly appreciate the way the Max Amp distributes the repeated signal the entire length of our coach, instead of only within 2-3 feet of the weBoost inside antenna.

For best results, use an exterior antenna with the highest gain you can find. For truly long distance results get a directional antenna such as a Yagi.

I'd probably pick the WeBoost Drive 4G-M.

I have two WeBoosts. One is permanently mounted at my house. The other is for camping. At my house I get 4 bars with the WeBoost where I'd only get a dot on my phone without it. I am so happy with the performance I bought the second one for camping so I did not have to pull the wiring out of the rafters. Initially the is a little setup to do to keep the receiver antenna away from the broadcast antenna.
There is something special about camping in an RV.
