Winegard Wifi Extender

We're researching options for wifi connection on the road and my wife stumbled upon the Winegard Connect 4G1 wifi extender. Has anyone used this unit? It's not cheap but we're thinking of cancelling crappy home wifi and using this unit for a couple years, home and camping, before going full time in fiver in 3yr. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

$20 for 1 gig of data
$35 for 3 gig
$80 for 10 gig

The first is ridiculous
The rest are in line with what cell phone carriers used to charge for data

But cheaper plans are available from your cell company

Might be ok If you can buy data when need for travel and not have to have a monthly contract

Note that when using it for cellular, you can ONLY use its own built-in outrageously expensive data package.

wifi "extender" means it uses the campgound wifi

unless there is some subscription service with it, that i have not read about

i would not cancel anything YET
