I assume you mean the Winegard SK-1000. First, if the receiver was not connect to a connection that was already pointed at the satellites the receiver cannot receive the hit sent by Dish so once you do get the antenna online you will have to call again for another hit.
Second, if the 119 satellite is blocked or the signal too weak the Trav'ler will not lock on despite being able to locate others. What message appears in the controller when it stops searching and it the antenna up in the air or stowed.
Where are you currently located and has the antenna worked properly in that exact location in the past.
Any additional info would also be helpful about what has been done since the last time the receiver was connected to the Trav'ler.
