worse connection wilson sleek 4G at&t

I have a Wilson sleek model 2B5325. I think this one is compliant with the new FCC rules. Have not had to use for perhaps 6 months. However, this week, I'm getting a sporadic signal from one bar LTE to 2 and occasionally 3 bars 4G. Connection constantly switches and I loose my VPN connections constantly. Trying the Sleek, I get 3 bars LTE but almost no speed, it's slower than Edge. Is there something to this? It's very odd, LTE without sleek is OK, once in sleek, it just goes to nothing.

I have a Wilson Sleek for Verizon. Get rid of the 4" antenna that came with it, call Wilson, and buy the correct upgraded antenna for it. My upgraded antenna is about 12 or 14" long. Reception will be vastly improved.

Also, I rigged a paint pole extension with a 4" square piece of sheet metal on the end, put the upgraded antenna on it, and extend it above the top of my RV, mounted in a flag pole holder.

Carriers are constantly updating lte frequencies for different areas. Call Weboost.

Where is your external antenna?

I just put my new jet pack MiFi into my Verizon sleek cradle
Signal went from -112. To. -98
A 14dB gain which is more than 16 times the signal strength with out the sleek
Every 3db is a doubling of the previous signal level at the input from the antenna
I have no idea what the problem is with the att version
Maybe .. Not on the same band or the hotspot is getting signal overload from to strong a signal
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !

I did have the older model for my Verizon MIFI. Worked great. However, I had a better data plan etc. with phone and AT&T so stopped using the MIFI. Even right now I'm connected without the Sleek but the connection is sporadic and usually the Sleek has allowed me to retain a connection all day and even stream football and movies. It's the newer model specifically for AT&T 4G/LTE but I wonder if the carries are doing something specific with the boosted signals now.

I just checked WilsonSignalBooster.com site and it looks like there are several iterations newer than what I have...so
815325 replaced by 460107 replaced by 470107.

I think Wilson goes by weBoost now. Wish they had an upgrade program, the products seem to become obsolete very quickly.

My WILSON SLEEK CRADLE is the older 815226 model that only works with 2G-3G... Perhaps you are running into this situation... I use mine in the truck and in the RV OFF-ROAD POPUP trailer...

When setup at the campgrounds I get a good 200-feet or so coverage area around my POPUP trailer for our WIFI enabled devices...

I use mine with my VERIZON 3G MIFI unit sitting the cradle. It works great for me with its passive external outside antenna connection even running down the roadway when we are in travel mode. My setup has the magnetic mount longer antenna (Not the short stuby one???) My MIFI unit provides internet for up to five of our WIFI enabled devices... Wife plays with her tablet going down the roadway... Our carrier is VERIZON...

We are probably talking about two different things here haha...

I've had all manner of Wilson products including Sleek, and I've found very little difference in performance, and sometimes degradation as you state.
