We're first time buyers of a TT and are considering either a

or a

2008 28' Jayco Jayflight

Any wisdom to pass onto us?

Thanks!

(If you copy and paste the the link it will show the Craigslist ad for the the trailers we are considering, if anyone feels inclined to give us their input we'd be grateful!)

Quality-wise I'd say the Jayco has it all over Thor (our current TT is a Thor.)
But for an '08 the important factor is how well it was maintained. I'll take a well-maintained Thor over a neglected Jayco.
If either one has water damage, delamination, and / or a soft floor, run!

Sorry, I barely have enough wisdom to survive. 😉 However, I'm very happy with my Jayco. Don't know much about Thors.

We have a Thor product (Dutchman) and have been very happy with it. We been all over the western regions in the higher elevation mountains and have great luck and enjoyment with our trailers.

I would go with a Jayco product any day of the week before looking at a Thor product. From what we have seen, Thors QC (if they have a QC program is all over the map.

Don't know anything about Summit but I have owned a Jayco and it was a good TT. When buying used the major consideration is actual condition. Have you inspected them personally? If not, you cannot begin to consider either until it is done.
