Abbreviations in posts

Hi everyone,

I know that this is probably the stupidest question in the world. I'm trying to learn as much as I can as a newbie before jumping in. We just have a toe in the water right now and are experimenting with renting some different size and type of RVs for weeklong stats to see how we like them. But we're having trouble understanding a lot of the lingo.

Any recommendations on where I can find a list of Abbreviations and what they mean?

I started out having trouble with SRW and DRW for towing vehicle. After about 20 posts or so someone you a Word and wrote it out. So now I understand SRW and DRW for towing vehicles.

CCC cargo carrying capacity

There are lots more. It's almost like I need just a simple dictionary of abbreviation so I can look them up and find out what they mean. I looked up dually in the dictionary and it didn't say anything about truck with dual wheels on the back. So a plain old dictionary just won't help.

Sometimes I think I'm really slow. And all these abbreviations are in the newbie forum!

TT is travel Trailer, 5W is a fifth wheel, Towed vehicle is "toad", TV is tow vehicle (truck usually)', SRW is single rear wheels on truck, DRW is dual rear wheels, Class A is a motor home like a bus, Class C is a motor home on a truck chassis. DH, DW,DD, DS, refers to husband, wife, daughter, son, with D for "dear" first. Any others?
