Being I do a lot of camping in Alabama I have a LSU bucket light. This light attract way to many bugs. Is there anything that can be done about this problem? I quit putting it out due to the bugs.

I've never noticed any bugs attracted to a light that was off. :B

I string up 120VAC ROPE LIGHTS (LOWES) on the inside of my POPUP AWNING frames using tie wraps. All you see from the outside is a good warm glow under the trailer awning... Doesn't seem to attract bugs at all... When we tear down for transport I just snip out the tie wraps. I bought a big bag of tie wraps three years ago and haven't run out yet.

When we are camping off the power grid I use my duty 600WATT PW Inverter to run these as well...

Even works in both upper and lower Alabama
