Anybody out there familiar with Diamond Kote Rv protection? $900 option for my new Sunset Trail and delaer says it's great. I've also heard from A LOT of posts that the front cap on the Sunsets tend to fade/dull very quickly. Before I spend a grand any input would be great

I wax my 38'DP MH every Spring and Fall using #845 Insulator Wax by Collinite. http://www.collinite.com/automotive-wax/ I have been using this wax on all of my vehicles for the past 20 years with excellent results. I can do my complete MH with less than one half a bottle.

Easy on and off, all of Collinite waxes provide excellent protection. I just ordered a case yesterday. I sell it to people that see my MH or Classic 1963 Grand Prix and compliment the finish and appearance.

Save your $900 and wax it yourself.

It's a polymer coating that's sprayed on the same as Nu-Finish, Rejex, Simonize Ice and many others. You can do your own for for under 20 bucks.

Just the name - "Diamond Kote" would make me run away fast. Take the advice on waxing and save the "Diamond Kote" money for better things.

Have the RV waxed by an RV detailer once every two years for an average of $150.00 per wax job instead of the $900. You'll have 12 years of protection.

Nu-Finish works great. Also the 303 Areospace protectant helps with the UV rays.

Don't do it...This is one of the biggest classic rip off add on's in the business.

I can guaranty you that after you sign and leave the office, they will be high five-ing each other and doing the, "Got him," dance.

If you absolutely must then at least negotiate for a MUCH better price.

All I will say is I believe that it's a "profit center" for the dealers.
