I have to go over to the Tyler/Longview area this weekend and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on a nice place to camp?

Tyler Oaks on 69 south of I 20 and north of Loop 323. 430-235-2030. I have not been there but have reservations for next month.

Yeah I tried Tyler State Park and they were completely booked. I've always wanted to stay there, but that is the problem. You have to book so far out. I will check those other ones out mentioned above. Thank you!

Tyler State Park is our favorite, but you have to reserve several weeks ahead for weekends. Whispering Pines RV Resort is nice and nearby. Its a Jellystone park.

Tyler State Park

Whispering Pines - a Jellystone park - Lindale off TX 16 east of TX 14

Antique Capital RV - Gladewater on the southeast loop

Those are some I've stayed at are very nice. The state park does have a per person daily admission fee. If you have a Texas State Parks pass the price is very good.

Otherwise it is on par with commercial parks.
