Help with roof ?

I was on my roof checking my eternabond from last summer, and took pictures just for fun.

I did not notice this hole until I got home and looked at the pictures.

Looks like the eternabond has been pushed down ?

Is this a vent or what is this thing on my roof ?

Is this a hole that water is leaking into, or should I be worried ?

Alright, I am going up there tomorrow morning, how will I be able to tell if it's rotted ? Can I just pull on the vent ? Does the vent just pull right out ?

It looks like that vent is falling down, through the roof material. It may be that before you got to it with the Eternabond, the roof leaked in that area and the plywood sheathing rotted around the vent.
You probably wouldn't have noticed the leak since it is above the fridge space.

My suggestion would be to pull it out of there and install a new vent on stable material.

I'm almost wondering if self leveling lap sealant would be better for this particular spot ? Which I do have on hand.

Wondering if the eternabond would fall off again ?

Yes, that makes perfect sense, it is right above the fridge.

Is it possible mice are getting in through here ? Because I have a mouse problem as well.

Thanks

Is this cover above your refrigerator?? If so it's the chimney for the refrigerator. If your worried about the corner area just run another piece of Eternabond over the area.

Looks like a refrigerator vent that has outlived it's usefulness. The plastic on those and the air conditioners get brittle from the sun. I would remove it, check for damage and go from there.
