Hose question........

So, we took the plunge and bought a used trailer. It has no freshwater or sewer hoses. We expect to camp in parks with full connections. So how long should each of the hoses be?

The trailer has a black tank flush port. Do I need to bring a hose to use that? Or does the park have one by the campsite or dump station?

We use 2x25' water hoses - food grade not garden hoses! Sewer hoses , one 15' sewerand , one 10' and one 5'........ we always seem to need a few more inches. Yes, you should use a different hose for the rinse connection on the sewer tank.Enjoy the adventure!

Plan on your own flush hose. Make sure it is a different color than the fresh water hose.

Why connect to city water? Fill your fresh water tank and use that. Much less chance of a water line problem.

Black tank flushes are nice but if you fill your black with water before dumping, you donโ€™t need to flush very often.

Fresh water - a minimum of 50 feet. You should do 2 - 25 footers. Just get a regular garden hose for the black tank flush, although Camco has a pretty orange one for that.

Rhino has a 20 foot kit that is 2 - 10 footers and the ends. Standard Rhino cheaped out when Camco came out with Rhino Extreme.

Going to be different for every park.

Start with maybe 2x 25ft fresh hoses and a 10ft Rhino sewer hose with the 10-15 ft extension hose kit (comes with the coupler). Can't comment on a flush connection, no experience there.

How's it for Electric cord? Maybe a 25ft RV extension cord too?
