2014 Jeep Cherokee Satellite Radio Signal

Has anyone had a problem with the satellite signal on their 2014 jeep Cherokee Limited or any vehicle. As I drive listening to the Satellite Radio it looses signal a lot. Sometimes it stops for a second or two and other times it says searching for satellite signal and that could be five or ten seconds. Is this normal??. It does not do this on my Ram truck.
The dealer is trying to tell me this is normal. It is so annoying to try to listen to a radio that keeps going off and on. It seems to happen near a lot of trees. Any help would be appreciated.

I get a couple of drops outs especially going under a overpass on the interstate. In my driveway it always drops out when I go under the AC Powerline feeding power for the neighborhood when I am pulling into my driveway.

Its really a hit and miss when I am at ELKMONT Camp inside the Smoky Mtn Natl Park TN. Pretty dense tree cover there I guess...

This is my Sirius radio hookup on my 2010 Ford F150 and the antenna is one those puck looking antennas mounted on the roof of the truck....

Would be curious where the SIRIUS factory antenna might be installed on your 2014 Cherokee.
