My parents lost a tire on the 5er last trip out, they were running dico tires. The place where they got two new tires put on winda tires. Have any of you had any expierence with these tires and also what kind do you recomend to run?

Can't speak to the brand, but:

Assuming they're both on the same side, I'm impressed that the tire place put TWO new tires on. It sounds like they know what they're doing... so often shops/owners overlook the probability that the adjacent tire was damaged in the blowout, too. Too many same-side tires that "look fine" are damaged internally, and ten miles down the road they give up the ghost, too. The cascade-of-flats effect!

This is why we carry two spares on our tandem axle trailers. Protocol is, if one blows, its neighbor comes off, too, until it can be inspected on the inside.

Not knowing the size of the wheels or the weight of the trailer...hard to answer...
But Winda Tires would not be my choice. Manufactured in Shandong China.
