Can any 5 speed manual be towed?

So I got a little ahead of myself. I bought a 5 speed manual rear wheel drive Mercedes SLK to tow behind my RV. After I bought it I started checking on towing. Well, Mercedes can only be towed short distance. I can't find an adapter to connect to the front. The hardtop convertible just seemed like it would be a fun car to have on a trip. Any thoughts? Am I out of luck? I sure don't want to tow with a trailer. Thanks, Reggie

Could I put it on a dolly and leave the car running, put it in neutral, and tow it with back wheels down? I guess I could just have the wife drive it too. She would probably like that better.

Use a tow dolly and put the rear wheels on it. It's not really a trailer. But it does look like you've answered your own question: won't work.

Guess you answered your own question. Only certain ones can be towed. Usually ones with 4WD. You can buy a drive shaft disconnect and more vehicles can be towed.
