Do those driving glasses really turn "night into day"

I have nearly quit driving at night because it's difficult for me to see. I keep reading about these driving glasses that they say they help. Have you had any experience with them and are they worth the price?

I had the same issue driving at night (and being old). Cured that with a pair of LED headlamp replacement bulbs. I can see very well now. The light is white from the headlamps and really makes the lines on the road and signage pop.
