Interested in a fifth wheel. Our turn around spot is a 3-point turn backing up and pulling forward. Pulling forward and straightening the rig requires a 7-degree roll (side slope) to the side and then pulling forward. Will a fifth wheel hitch or a Gen-Y hitch allow for that type of roll (slope) without damage to due hitch or king pin?

In my opinion the hitch and king pin ain’t going to be the problem. The bigger issues are damage to the top of the truck box rails due to the 5er hitting the box from to much slope, and the 5er hitting the back window of the truck due to to sharp of a turn, or both. Whether or not either will happen is impossible for me to tell from my recliner. Maybe others here have better vision.

Most hitches can accommodate 7deg or roll but a good chance the trailer overhang hits the side of the truck bed.
Assuming this is a permanent site, can the campground help? At one place we stayed, they had a skid steer with a fifth wheel pin on a fork and they could maneuver very tightly. Probably not worth it if you will be in and out regularly but if it's a one time deal, it's worth checking.
