Ford Fusion vs. Ford Edge

So we upgraded our TT to a class C. Now it's time to trade in the F-150 for something that I can commute to work in and then tow when we want to bring a car with us. I am stuck between a Ford Fusion, which I would use a tow dolly, and going with an AWD Edge so that I can still have something I can drive comfortably if we get any small snowstorms. Pros/Cons..... I would love to hear from those with either. Thanks

I am going to take a look at the Edge this week. I drove the Fusion the other day. Nice car, but we have had at least one 4x4 or AWD vehicle in the house for the last 8 years and not sure if I want to give that up.

We also tow an Edge, since you cannot to an Escape as we found out twice!!!

I tow four down with this Edge just as I did with my 2009 Edge.

Do you both use tow dollies? The AWD needs to be towed 4 down. I was curious how well it does.

I have been very happy with my Edge. Roomy for a 6ft 2 me. Fun to drive. 270hp 6 speed trans. 25 mpg. 30000 miles towed, no problems.

We are on our second Edge and both have been our dingy as well as our only family car. Neither was an AWD. We have been very happy with them. Be sure the weight is within the specifications of your coach.
