Handling motion sickness with dogs

We have adopted two female Havanese young adult pups. One has severe motion sickness issues. We travel in a motorhome and have tried positioning her where she can see the road, tried with her sitting in my wife's lap. Nothing seems to help. I know there are several products out there that are supposed to help.

We've read a few online suggestions, but I've found this forum is usually a good source for sound advice.

We give our dog spoonfuls of Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey, about 5 spoonfuls of that and Little Bob lies down to sleep it off.

I can't find a "RV Pet Stop" category for some reason.

Half (or quarter for "starters") tab of Bonine -or store brand of/for "Meclizine"- worked great for our small dogs when each was young. Got over it once past puppy stage.

The *RV Pet Stop* forum (here) might be a good source.

IIRC there is a Vet (Doug?) who regularly replies there.
