I know I will get a bunch of different answers, but here goes. I am currently running a 1000/10000 E2 Equalizer but I want a little more sway control. There are so many brands (Equalizer, Husky, Trekker, Blue ox) I just don't know what to choose. I would like to stay in the $400 range if possible. So let's hear your favorite hitch. Thanks Michael

I've been using the Reese HP Dual Cam for years with very good success

You won't get much better @ $400. $450-600 seems to be more common for the Reese Strait Line, Equal-i-zer 4pt and BlueOx Swaypro. Those three have similarly positive feedback. Anderson has mixed feedback.

I would spend $15 at a CAT scale to find out what your weights are and how well your current WDH is adjusted before $500 on a new hitch though. 3 passes, truck alone, truck with trailer on ball, truck with trailer with WDH.

Towed with a Reece Dual Cam HP for years and years... really good hitch, good sway control...but they are tricky to set up and need to be "dialed in" correctly to be optimal..

After a ton of research and talking to actual owners I'm going to give the Blue Ox Sway Pro a try when our new trailer comes in.

But, as part of the new trailer deal, the dealer has given me the option to bring it back and swap it for a Reece again if I don't like it . We will see.

My favorite and the only hitch I have ever used is an Equal-i-zer.
If I were ever to change to another manufacturer, I would look into a SwayPro by Blue Ox.

You may have to up your price range a bit to $400 - $600.
