I'm looking at towing a 4 door pickup with some kind of bike loader behind my motorhome. Is there a 4 door pickup out there that is towable 4 wheels down that will handle a full size motorcycle (VTX1800)? I currently do not have the pickup or motorcycle loader so I am looking for input on both the truck and loader. I would like to not have the 8 foot bed and go with a shorter bed on the pickup. I don't know if there are any motorcycle loaders out there that allow you to do this or not. If anyone has any experience with either, I would appreciate comments. Thanks.
Yes, a friend tows either a 2012 or 2013 Chevy diesel 4X4, CC with an 8' bed that he carries his RAZR on.

Nodwell RN110 out moose hunting. 4-53 Detroit, Clark 5 spd, 40" wide tracks, 10:00x20 tires, 16,000# capacity, 22,000# weight. You know the mud is getting deep when it's coming in the doors.
99% of your GM 4 door full size 4x4's are towable 4 down, as are many of the Ford and Dodge 4x4's. Pick the one you like, check the owners manual under "RV towing" and you will know for sure. Just make sure the bed is proper length to mount the loader and that the truck has sufficient load capacity for both the loader & bike. We tow a full size truck behind ours and it may have either a full size bike or a SxS in the bed. The DP handles the weight well.
