I love the scenic places - national parks and state/county parks. I've been to many where your 43 foot rig would simply not fit. One poster mentioned you'd be able to pick sites. In those places the workampers site is often the only one with w/e/s - no picking to be done. Some have made those sites larger, but that would be pushing it. If you don't mind not being able to take those jobs, there are many that CAN accommodate your size. I elect to have a small rig - now about 26' because of restrictions, not just for workamping, but for overnights in many of the scenic areas. Getting one of the few larger sites some places have can be difficult, whereas I can drive into almost anywhere without a reservation and get a site. (Was even easier in my last rig at 22'!)
Good luck to you - and it's all doable - we just each have to know what we can/can't do. I travel with a dog, for example. Or am a single - some places only want couples. When we can't get what we want, we move on.
Loving the rv lifestyle!
