Discovered these adjustable wonders out of necessity. Fairly inexpensive to boot.

I made my nephew something similar, a carry-all for a fly rod and reel. I used conventional PVC pipe and fittings, painted it camo, and attached a carry strap. IIRC, a 4" pipe handled two rods and two reels.
