Anybody been to the RV / MH Hall of Fame off of I80 in Elkhart Indiana?

Look like they have some cool vintage RVs: http://www.rvmhhalloffame.org/

I saw it while en-route to MN this past week (W/O camper unfortunately!) Tried to stop on the way home but due to a late start, the time zone change and Chicago traffic I got there too late...

We were there last fall just before we took the Keystone Montana factory tour. Love both of them! I highly recommend it.

Another place to stop in the Detroit area is the Henry Ford Museum to check out the camping display. Ol' Henry was a tent camper back in the day, along with friends Thomas Edison, and Warren G. Harding after his stay in Washington DC was over. Those ol' boys did it right. Henry sent a crew to the camp site a couple days early to set up the sleeping tents, the kitchen tent and the dining tent, and they were waited on hand and foot while "roughing it".
You can easily spend a day or two at the museum. Pretty much anything historic on wheels is there, including RR steam engines.

Twice, since it moved tothat location. First visit was actually before they finished the move, not everything there now had been moved out to public display.

GREAT PLACE. Any rv'er in the area should plan on a visit.

Ditto, If you are in the area it is worth the time to go. We really enjoyed it. We were there in 2011.

Many RV brands are manufactured in Elkhart, In. Its Amish country and they are excellent woodworkers. Elkhart.

Was there a couple of years ago and they had a RV Show going on at the same time. The Hall of Fame is very nicely done. My favorite was the "Tennessee Traveler".

I keep wanting to stop there. My son even lived in Elkhart for a few years and I only live 80 miles away. We stopped one time when they were closed and just haven't gotten back.

An interesting place to visit. Two hours will be plenty of time. There are several vintage RV's with some from the early part of last century. Winnebago's first motor home is also there. Brought back lots of memory's.

Looked like a nice place, but it was closed on the day we went by. Don't know why, but there were several of us circling the parking lot all wondering the same thing.

We were there in 2011 and plan to return next month while in the area. It's a great place!!! We were so impressed we purchased life time memberships to help support the museum.
