Yesterday I did what is called the "cheap handling fix" for a Ford 53 chassis. There is extensive discussion on another forum. While I was at it I checked the bracket bolts that hold the sway bar on. Out of 8 bolts (front and back SB) only two were torqued anywhere near spec's. One was backed out enough I could see threads between the bolt head and the bracket. All are now tightened to the proper torque with blue locktite as well. Our unit has under 10k on it. Check your SB bolts!
