Vacuum cleaners

Most of us don't have a central vacuum system in our rigs. What make/model vacuum cleaner do you use? We have a dog. Our Grand Design has vinyl flooring in most of it, the bedroom and slide is carpeted.

I used a handheld oreck, the free one they give when you buy their upright on the infomercial. I found it on a garage sale for $10. It was perfect! Small space, had a hose, and was pretty powerful compared to others I'd used. Hope this helps!

I got mine off of Amazon in Jan 2016.

It has a long cord... easy to vacuum from one end of the rig to the other.
No bag to buy. Just flip the hatch and dump.

Pet hair is no problem for it but you must get the TRUE-PET model which comes with a special attachment.

You won't use a vacuum unless it's powerful and easy to use and this one is. You can even vacuum the ceiling and every corner between the ceiling and the floor.

we just have a "buckhead" that fits a 5 gallon bucket. it sucks an blows so we use it to inflate/deflate boat too.
it is a wet or dry. empties easy. and cost 29 bucks at Home Depot.

Shark wife swears by them. Upright with lots of configurations.

we used to carry an upright dirt devil. 10 or 12 amp draw and did an adequate job with dog hair.
