I followed the advice of some RV'ers here on the net and posted the MH for sale on one of the national nets. Instead of getting responses from individuals I'm getting many companies wanting to see the MH for me. Some claim listings, some an auction, some claim???. All want about $400 for selling the coach. Are any of them valid? Is this just another way of scamming my money? HELP

We had emails and calls from several different "let us help you sell" companies. Ignore them.

Your price point is the most important factor followed closely by the pictures in the ad. How the ad is worded is also important.

When we were looking for our new to us motor home, if the ad didn't have good pics & a detailed description, it didn't interest us. Buyers want to see and read about the RV.

every time I advertised a RV for sale in the paper, I shortly got a phone call from a specific RV dealer wanting to sell it. I did leave one there on consignment and they did get it sold. but I paid nothing until it sold.

Maybe one in twenty. If they want consignment money paid up front they are definitely a scam.
