trailer thoughts

Hi all this might be better in the travel trailer forum but I though I'd put it here first and see how it goes. currently we have a wilderness 25fq TT which worked reasonably well for us last year when traveling with dd <1 and Dog 50lb. but the weather was terrible through the whole trip and not having a bunk for dd was a pain as we needed to set up and take down the table for every rain day. now we are expecting DD x2&3 and we need to expand. I would like to stay with a TT and the best layout I've seen to date is the V-cross 28rbh can you suggest any other options and your experience with them as looking at trailers is never ending and overwhelming at times. I'm driving a k2500 burb so keeping it to 8000lbs total would be ideal and keep me near my 80% rule.

thanks for your incite

As I'm not sure how to move it if I even can mabe a mod can do so for me. Thanks for your suggestions I'll have a look. I'm not convinced there's any advantage to the v-nose aside from that fact it looks different than the flaties. I suspect since there is very little tongue left infront of the nose that I may have trouble putting the tailgate up to get the dog out without unhitching which would be a serious inconvience. Although the hitch is way higher on this than my pu I'm concerned still that I won't be able to get it past the hitch head already. Haven't rebuilt the head to mate to the truck yet.

Thanks

I do think this would be best for the Travel Trailer Forum but I will say that we have been very happy with our Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite from Forest River RV.

This one may well work for you and should be no issue for your K2500 (I pull a similar TT with our Suburban 2500 w/ 8.1L and 3.73).

You are right -- this would fit much better in the travel trailer forum.
