Blocking behind TT steps

We are starting to pack up and prep for our first substantial trip in the new TT, and a puzzler has presented itself. 90% of our camping is dry camping at dog shows or trials. We like to create a fenced "yard" of exercise pens at our setup (we are not at campgrounds when we do this) In the old Bounder, we simply used a short 18" pen to run against the side of the vehicle to keep the dogs from running under. It cleared behind the steps just fine. In the new TT, there is 11.5" ground clearance behind the stairs. The two adult dogs wouldn't bother, but we've got a new 12 week old puppy who would be under those stairs in a heartbeat.
Ideas? Bonus if they can easily connect to ex-pens on both sides via eye snaps or carabiners.

Oh, and welcome Dora - she'll be 12 weeks old on Wednesday!

Or screening with large holes. If it needs to bend then cut several pieces connected with wire loops so that it will lay flat.

Thanks BCSnob! I think I have a piece of lattice out in the shed! We're competing the next two weekends with Dexter, the 3 1/2 y/o boy. He's doing Rally and Obedience this month, and as also doing the conformation thing. Not much herding interest. Little Dora shows promise as a true dual dog. Parents and grandparents on both sides proven on stock, and she's structurally excellent as well.

Vinyl lattice cut to the right size and shape to bridge the gap between the xpen panels behind the steps. If the lattice openings won’t work with snaps or carabiners, you can drill holes in the vinyl.

Good luck at your upcoming events; we’ll be competing next weekend.
