The cats visited Joshua Tree NP yesterday. It got pretty dang hot there in the afternoon. They had to tough it out in the camper with us dry camping at Jumbo Rocks the last 4-5 hours of the day. It got down in the mid-70’s overnight. We all survived.

We did the same thing with 3 dogs and when we got back they were barking at us like crazy. It was in Truckee, California. The next day we had the generator on with the air going and the temperature alert set incase of power failure. With the dogs when they are hot they are not happy campers.
