Hi,

i am getting an rv and want to remotely monitor my 2 cats that we will be leaving in rv periodically.

I've determined that baby monitors with temperature that are wifi is my best option. anybody doing this and what would you recommend.

i will be using a verizon mifi device if i can find monitor that will work on it.

thanks

I have two FRS/GMRS radios, and I set one on continuous transmit. The other receives the transmitted signal. Certainly would work well for dogs.

If your neighbours dog barks, then set the radio to transmit, hide it near his house somewhere, and record the dog on your computer. Then you have the evidence.

I use mine for yard work while I have timers for cooking inside on the oven. When the timer beeps, I pick it up on the other radio when I am out in the garden.

combining your barking hearing system with a simple temperature alarm seems like the way to go. I'm glad i made the initial post-this is a good idea

Sharx makes a wifi camera/dvr. That's what I'll be using.

I'm anxious to see the answers here. GOOD idea IMHO. Maybe dog owners will pick up on it so they can hear their dogs barking!
