A/C Compressor not kicking on after Thermostat install.

I just replaced my duo-therm thermostat on my Roo 233 with a honeywell th6110d102 because the temp control in the old one was going bad. I hooked it up as follows

wire +7.5 Red - No Connections
Cool Yellow - Y
Fan Brown-G
Hi fan Blue - toggle switch back to G
Fur White - W
gnu Green to RC that is jumpered to RH

The furnace kicks on fine, the fan runs on low and hi fine. I set the therm. to cool and lower the temp. The A/C unit kicks on but the compressor doesnโ€™t start. I checked the voltage and it is only drawing about 3.2 AMPS. So I went and put the old therm. back in and still the same results. It is pretty cold outside tonight and I am wondering since the old one did the same is there an outside temp where the A/C unit will not kick on at? It worked fine a few days ago but it was much warmer outside. Any ideas? Thanks

Hair dryer works great for warming up a cold thermostat.

@downtheroad I was wondering about the temp as well. Inside the camper it was 55 therm. Only goes to 50 and outside air temp was around 50 as well. We just got a cold snap out of the middle of nowhere. I hope it is warmer tomorrow to test more.

Any chance it has a compressor delay to prevent short cycling?
s/b no more than 5 minutes.

I'm sure you did...but did you set the stat to a temp that is at least 5 degrees cooler than the ambient temperature when you tested it?
