My previous inverter was an Aims 1500w PSW (with wireless remote) and I had it configured (via automatic transfer switch) to operate all the household plugs. Always worked flawlessly, but ultimately I outgrew the 1500w output (due to motor surge reqmts). For electronics, a good value I doubt you'll have a regret.

Though sometimes valid, personally I take most reviews ('reviewers') (cars, trucks, etc) with only a mild grain of salt because my own experience has often been quite different...Just Me.

No idea of Brand quality, but on weight, I thought that went out with the arrival of switch-mode so now you can have light-weight inverters

MEX says it's about weight with inverters and at 2.8 lbs, I'd be leery.

Go to Amazon. Horrible reviews. I would never buy a product like this based on a low price.

I have great success with my two AIMS PURE SINE WAVE INverters mounted in my OFF-ROAD POPUP setup. I use the AIMS 600W PSW unit for my work horse Inverter for the home entertainment items an other must have ON items like computer an cell phone chargers, NOAH WX radio, even a lap heating blanket the wife uses alot just sitting around watching HTDV.

My other 1500WATT PSW Inverter is more of a total system backup to fire up all of our 120VAC Receptacles when needed... It has remote ON/OFF capabilities.

Been using both units for over five years now with no problems...

I notice AMAZON doesn't carry the same 1500WATT AIMS PSW Inverter I am using anymore.

This is a couple of drawings showing where my 600WAA an 1500WATT PSW Inverters are installed.

My two 120VAC table mounted emergency 120VAC outlets shown above from my 600WATT AIMS PSW Inverter are always ON. Even at electric sites.

My Posts are IMHO based on my experiences - Words in CAPS does not mean I am shouting

From what I gathered researching inverters, Aims doesn't seem to have a very good reputation.

Same price as on boatandrv, don't know about shipping comparison.

If 180w would do, that one for $79 looks interesting and it has the USB
